Minimum Mass is a research-driven creative exploration of realtime rendering and interactive storytelling. It has been supported by Victoria University of Wellington and the Miramar Creative Center labs in New Zealand. This project was incubated at the Sundance New Frontier Story Lab and Kaleidoscope Fund’s DevLab in 2018. It was funded by the New Zealand Film Commission’s Interactive Development Grant in 2018, 2019 and Boost Up in 2020. In 2019 we received an Epic Megagrant. In 2020, through our co-production partnership with Floreal Films in France, we received funding from the CNC and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. This generous support has allowed us to bring the project to completion.
